4. Rate Limiting and Fair Use
To ensure fair access for all users:

- Excessive use that degrades the experience for other users may be throttled
- Automated use (scripts, bots, integrations) must respect rate limits and include appropriate delays between requests
- Free tier users are subject to the rate limits of the underlying free model providers (e.g., OpenRouter, Google Gemini)
5. API Key Responsibilities (BYOK)
When using your own API keys (Bring Your Own Key):
- You are solely responsible for the security and use of your API keys
- Do not share bot URLs that embed API keys (the Service is designed to never include keys in URLs, but you should verify this before sharing)
- If you suspect your API key has been compromised, revoke it immediately through the provider's dashboard
- You must comply with each AI provider's terms of service and acceptable use policies in addition to this AUP
- We are not liable for any charges, damages, or consequences resulting from the use or misuse of your API keys
6. Shared Bot URLs
When sharing bot configurations via URL:
- You are responsible for the content of system prompts and configurations you share
- Shared bots must comply with this AUP
- We may disable or block shared bot URLs that violate this policy
- Public bots (auth: 1) are accessible to anyone with the URL; consider the audience before sharing
7. Consequences of Violations
Violations of this AUP may result in the following actions, at our sole discretion:
- Warning: A written notice describing the violation and required corrective action
- Temporary suspension: Temporary restriction of account access for a specified period
- Feature restriction: Disabling specific features (e.g., bot sharing, council mode) while maintaining basic access
- Permanent termination: Permanent deletion of your account and revocation of all access
- Legal action: Referral to law enforcement or initiation of legal proceedings for severe violations
The severity of the response will be proportionate to the nature and severity of the violation. CSAM, terrorism, and imminent threats of violence will result in immediate termination and law enforcement notification without prior warning.
